Lakeland Community College’s WAVE is inviting entrepreneurs with technology-based business ideas or startups to apply for the WAVE Maker’s Pitch Competition, which offers $6,000 in cash prizes.

The competition is open to Lake and Geauga County residents with software, health tech, advanced manufacturing, advanced energy, or advanced materials startups and ideas.
Five finalists will pitch live on July 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. in H Building, Room H-116 on Lakeland’s campus, with prizes of $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second, and $1,000 for third.
